Create A Cute Cloth With SubliCraft Baby Burp Cloths

Burp cloths are more essential than they seem for any baby, but you might have seen them with a typically plain pattern or color. Now with SubliCraft’s own blank baby burp cloths, there’s no limit to how they can look based on your style. Produced with 100-percent white polyester, you’ll be able to permanently apply photographic images or vibrant graphics onto these items as you would with any other polyester fabric. And by being open to personalization for one’s newborn child, SubliCraft baby burp cloths can make for perfect baby shower gifts, and are ready to blend in well to any nursery.

First, prepare your pattern, monogram, or other design within the dimensions of a SubliCraft baby burp cloth. As these items are of a somewhat larger size, you’ll need to prepare your design using a 13 by 19 inch document, which will also require having a sublimation printer loaded with paper of that size. On graphic design software, you can fit your design within a 12-point-05 by 15-point-95 inch rectangle as a clipping mask. By also keeping elements like text or a central graphic within the item’s 11-point-8 by 15-point-7 inch size, its key portions will be easier to maintain as you apply the printed design onto the cloth itself. As soon as your design is ready, you may print it through your sublimation printer. Due to the larger size of these items, Sawgrass SG1000 users will send it to Sawgrass Print Manager with these settings: Substrate to Polyester, Paper to the loaded paper’s profile, Source to Bypass Tray, leave Mirror checked, and the Color Mode in the Color tab to Photographic or Vivid based on your preferred color saturation. And with the transfer printed, turn on your heat press and set it to 45 seconds at 385 degrees Fahrenheit with medium pressure.

Once your machine reaches temperature, cover its lower platen with parchment paper, then add your transfer on top with the printed side up. Simply place and position your SubliCraft baby burp cloth above the printed image, then attach it in place using heat tape. Alternatively, you can lightly spray the transfer with adhesive spray to then place the cloth onto, prior to bringing both items over to the machine. But after either method, flip the items to where the paper side faces up, cover them with another parchment paper sheet and press. After 45 seconds, open your heat press and allow the items at least 20 seconds to cool down. As soon as they’ve cooled, quickly peel the transfer out and the SubliCraft baby burp cloth has now been customized with your design! After a full cool down, you can also press its back side with the same or another design for full customization.
