The Digital Knight Auto-Release Pop-Up Upgrade is available for the DK16 and DK20 Digital Knight clamshell heat presses. This upgrade makes your Digital Knight clamshell act like a semi-automatic, air-operated press--and it doesn't require an air compressor! All you need to do is close the heat press as you normally would, and at the end of the digital timing cycle, the heat press would release automatically.
This upgrade also features a "HOVER" feature, which means that when the handle is lowered without fully clamping the machine, the heat press will hover over your garment, which is useful for those who use their heat presses for curing purposes. At the end of the time cycle, the heat press would release automatically as usual.
While this feature can be installed on brand new heat presses by a factory technician, it is easy-to-install by customers who already own a Digital Knight heat press.
